Just days before the premiere showing of SyFy’s “Sharknado2: The Second One,” top social casino games developer Zynga, added a Sharknado-themed slot game to its high rating “Hit It Rich! Casino Slots” app. Sharknado is a made-for-TV disaster movie, in which a freak hurricane that hit Los Angeles caused a waterspout to lift hordes of sharks from out of the ocean, only to deposit them into the flooded city of Los Angeles.
Zynga’s “Hit It Rich! Casino Slots” app users now have a “Sharknado” slot game that offers more than just the thrills of betting on the outcomes of spins.
There is the Sharknado Wild Symbol Bonus, in which a simulated tornado causes some sort of agitation that will transform, and then lock reel 3 into a Stack of Wilds. If the Wild Bonus occurs during the Free Spin round, more of the Sharknado Wild icons will emerge in addition to the Stacked Wilds.
Free Spins are initially without limit until the Sharknado icon appears anywhere on reel three, an occurrence that activates the “Chopper Attack” mini game. Some of the sharks that have infested the floodwater will emerge on the screen, and players will have three attempts to choose a shark that contains the number of remaining free spins that will let them advance in the bet-free round. If all choices revealed only coin values, then it means the end of the Free Spin mode.
Players, who level up in the Free Spin round, will have the chance to play the Rescue Bonus game. This time, a player who chooses a shark that reveals Nova, one of Sharknado’s female lead characters, will receive a reward multiplier for rescuing Nova. Choosing a Nova-less shark is not at all bad, since the player will receive additional reward points.
